about Kendall

As a former student in Leiden, I aim to help the expat community living in The Netherlands. With the cognitive behavioral approach, in combination with my applied behavioral analysis provides me with depth and tools to work with every individual.
Being an expat myself gives me an advantage to understanding other expat students and their unique needs. My main goal is to aid individuals in overcoming their obstacles and challenges alongside changing negative thinking to increase self awareness and produce life transformations.
Working with children and their families brings a great importance on providing a safe therapeutic environment. This allows for the child specifically to be able to express themselves and feel understood. I have several years of experience working with children with special needs and behavioral or emotional disorders.
My style is to error on the side of nurture and development opposed to strict teaching. I find that the greatest success comes from using positive approaches and methods in therapy. I am here to provide guidance for yourself and your child along the treatment process.
My heart and passion have resided with psychology ever since I can remember. My passion for helping others, including working with children, individuals and families, stems from being part of a large family and understanding the importance of support and community. I was born in The United States, where I studied my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Positive Psychology. Alongside my studies, I played volleyball at the highest level.
As a student-athlete, I embraced being a team player and the lessons learned from managing your time efficiently between school and sports. After graduating, I explored an area of psychology working with children with autism. This was my first Master’s degree (MSc). My interest did not stop there, with the urge to pursue my passion of helping others.
I moved to The Netherlands to complete my second Master’s Degree, in counseling psychology (MA). I also am registered as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
I believe that each client needs an individualized treatment according to their own story. My goal is to blend all of my knowledge together to best help the client reach their full potential.
